Vivekanand International Sr. Sec School, I.P Extn., Delhi celebrated its Annual Day, UTSARJAN on 26th December 2015 for its Senior Wing students and SANKALP on 27th December 2015 for its Junior Wing students with a lot of enthusiasm and fervor. The programme commenced with the welcoming of the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Shri Govind Jaiswal , IAS , District Magistrate (East), Delhi and Special Guest, Hon’ble Shri Rajanish Singh, DANICS, Additional District Magistrate (East), Delhi on 26th December 2015.
Hon’ble Shri B.S Gurjar, IPS, D.C.P. (East), Delhi was the Chief Guest of the Annual day Celebration “Sankalp….Save Earth… Save Life” of Junior Wing students on 27th December 2015.
A mesmerizing programme entitled “Utsarjan.Towards Bright India” was showcased by the students. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of lamp by the eminent dignitaries.
The function commenced with the narration of school’s Annual Report by Meghna Sati, the Head Girl of the School, followed by the felicitation of our meritorious students of class X & XII and our alumni who secured commendable positions in esteemed institutions.
The students exhibited their talents through a series of exhilarating events titled- God is one, Skit on rising prices, Mime act on child labour, Save & educate girl child, Healthy Vs Junk food, Clean India, Spirit of Yoga, Welcome to technology world, Shiksha ka Suraj and the finale song of Achievements.
The performance by our vibrant and enthusiastic Vivekanandians definitely aroused a deep awakening thought that it is a high time that we Indians awaken and get rid of the social evils to make it a better place for our future generations.
A Spellbound programme entitled “Sankalp….Save Earth… Save Life by our young, budding Junior Wing students on 27th December’ 2015 enthralled the audience through an array of entertaining programmes. Young Vivekanandians mesmerized the audience with their fabulous performances which was a portrayal of a well directed Dance drama on Fairy world where fairies wishes to visit Earth & see its beauty.
The programme began with narration of the Annual Report of the School by Aum Bharti, the Head Boy of the School followed by Ganesh Stuti and other entertaining items such as Fairy world, Wish of Fairy, Journey on Earth ,Visit to flower valley, Beauty of jungle, Enjoying seasons, Visit to city, God is one, Colours of Culture, Aerobics & Save Earth.
There was festive atmosphere all around and parents were visibly excited to watch their Children’s performance.
There were LEDs kept in different locations, so that the audience could see the function unhindered. The projections also helped close-up shots that caught the emotions of actors very well.
Our Annual Day Celebration on both the occasions was a celebration of culture, art, creativity and talent. In the exuberant atmosphere, one could see the skills and talent of the young students being showcased with aplomb. The celebration proved to be a platform for the students to come together & show their inherent talents.
Our Hon’ble Chief guest on both occasions addressed the audience with an inspiring speech and their insightful speeches won many hearts.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks and National Anthem. The exhilarating show was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone present.
